HOMEMADE BABY RUTH BARS
INGREDIENTS
1 1/4 cups light corn syrup
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
6 cups cornflakes cereal
1 1/4 cups peanuts
2/3 cup chocolate chips
Icing:
1 1/3 cups chocolate chips
1/2 cup heavy cream
Decorations: Salted Peanuts

Instructions:
In a large saucepan, combine 1 1/4 cups corn syrup,1 cup peanut butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar,1/2 cup white sugar and stir until combined.
In a separate bowl, mix together 6 cups of cornflakes, 2/3 cup chocolate chips and 1 1/4 cups peanuts.
Pour hot corn syrup mixture over the cornflakes mix. Stir unit cornflakes are completely coated.
Line 9×13 baking pan with aluminum foil and grease with baking spray.
Press the mixture into 9×13 inch baking pan and cool for about 1/2 hour.
Top with chocolate icing and decorate with salted peanuts.
Cut into desired size and enjoy.
Chocolate Icing:
Heat heavy cream to almost boiling point.
Pour over chocolate chips and let it sit for about 3 minutes.
Mix it using wooden spoon until chocolate is melted and smooth.
