  • butter (unsalted)
  • flour (all purpose)
  • sugar
  • eggs
  • hazelnuts
  • vanilla extract
  • salt

How to make Chocolate Friday Lava Cake?

Ingredients

1/2 cup unsalted butter

7 oz chocolate (semi sweet or dark)

1/2 cup icing sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 cup flour

1/2 tsp salt

2 large eggs

2 egg yolks

1/3 cup hazelnut, grounded

INSTRUCTIONS

Spray 5 ramekin with baking spray and dust with cocoa powder.

Preheat oven to 425 F.

Coarsely chop the chocolate of your choice.

Place unsalted butter and chopped chocolate into a medium heat-proof bowl.

Place bowl over a saucepan of simmering water.

Stir butter and chocolate until softens. Add vanilla extract and stir. Set aside.

Mix flour, icing sugar, hazelnut and salt in a small bowl.

Whisk egg and egg yolks in another bowl.

Your next step is to mix flour mixture and eggs into the chocolate mixture.

Mix until all ingredients are incorporated using a rubber spatula.

Spoon chocolate batter into prepared ramekins.

Bake at 425 F for 12 minutes.

Make ahead instructions: If you are family of two you can bake 2 or 3 ramekins. The rest you can cover with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and refrigerate.

When you are ready to bake, remove the plastic wrap and bake as directed, adding an extra 1 minute. Bake for 13 minutes at 425 F. So, if you make this cake on Friday you can have dessert on Saturday or Sunday.

3 cups grated carrots

1 cup walnuts (toasted)

8 oz cream cheese

2/3 cup butter

1/2 cup heavy cream

6 3/4 cups icing sugar

Use 3 6-inch round cake pans, line the bottoms with parchment paper.

Preheat oven to 350 F.

Making the moist carrot cake

In a medium size bowl whisk flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside.

Beat the butter until creamy, add brown sugar and keep beating until fluffy.

After that add one egg, mix, add second egg, mix, add third egg and mix.

2 packs strawberry pudding (check the link – Buy it)

Cheese Filling

6 oz cheese, room temperature

1 1/4 cup icing sugar

3/4 cup heavy cream

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

INSTRUCTIONS

Use 12×16 inch jelly roll pan, line with aluminum foil (dull side up).

Spray with baking spray and set aside.

Preheat oven to 350 F.

In a large bowl beat 6 eggs and 3/4 cup sugar until triples in volume. (9 minutes)

Sift the flour, cinnamon, cornstarch, baking powder and salt.

Add into eggs mixture and fold gently using a spatula.

Important: Don’t use mixer when adding flour mixture.

Fold using a spatula.

Be sure that flour mixture is incorporated into eggs mixture.

Spread the batter on the prepared jelly roll pan.

Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.

Cool completely.

Wash strawberries and cut them into smaller pieces.

Transfer to medium size sauce pan, add sugar and 3/4 cup water.

Bring to boil. Boil for about 2 minutes.

Meanwhile, mix 2 packs strawberry pudding and 1/2 cup water until smooth.

Add strawberry pudding mixture to boiled strawberries and cook until thicken.

IMPORTANT: Be sure to stir constantly. Set aside for 5 minutes.

The strawberry filling is not going to be totally cooled when you pour into cake tunnel.

In a mixing bowl mix cheese and sugar.

Add vanilla.

In another bowl whip heavy (33%) cream.

Fold the whipped cream into cheese/sugar mixture.

Keep it in the fridge until ready for use.

Assemble of Tunnel Cake

You will need loaf pan (11-5/8″ L x 5-1/8″ W x 2-3/4″ H)

Line your loaf pan with plastic wrap.

Now take your cool cake and cut into 2 pieces.

One is 11×10 size and the other is 11×7

Now take your bigger pieces (11×10) and place inside of loaf pan. Set aside.

Pour your strawberry filing. Cool it before you add cheese filling.

Also, be sure that there is enough space for cheese filling.

The strawberry filling should take about 2/3 part of inside. So, you might have some extra filling.

Then top with cheese filling.

Your final step is to close the tunnel cake with your cake piece size 11×17.

Cover everything with plastic wrap and leave in the freezer for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Next Day

Free cake from the loaf pan.

    Fold using a spatula.

    Be sure that flour mixture is incorporated into eggs mixture.

    Spread the batter on the prepared jelly roll pan.

    Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.

    Cool completely.

    Making strawberry filling

    Wash strawberries and cut them into smaller pieces.

    Transfer to medium size sauce pan, add sugar and 3/4 cup water.

    Bring to boil. Boil for about 2 minutes.

    Meanwhile, mix 2 packs strawberry pudding and 1/2 cup water until smooth.

    Add strawberry pudding mixture to boiled strawberries and cook until thicken.

    IMPORTANT: Be sure to stir constantly. Set aside for 5 minutes.

    The strawberry filling is not going to be totally cooled when you pour into cake tunnel.

    Making Cheese filling

    In a mixing bowl mix cheese and sugar.

    Add vanilla.

    In another bowl whip heavy (33%) cream.

    Fold the whipped cream into cheese/sugar mixture.

    Keep it in the fridge until ready for use.

    Assemble of Tunnel Cake

    You will need loaf pan (11-5/8″ L x 5-1/8″ W x 2-3/4″ H)

    Line your loaf pan with plastic wrap.

    Now take your cool cake and cut into 2 pieces.

    One is 11×10 size and the other is 11×7

    Now take your bigger pieces (11×10) and place inside of loaf pan. Set aside.

    Pour your strawberry filing. Cool it before you add cheese filling.

    Also, be sure that there is enough space for cheese filling.

    The strawberry filling should take about 2/3 part of inside. So, you might have some extra filling.

    Then top with cheese filling.

    Your final step is to close the tunnel cake with your cake piece size 11x17.

    Cover everything with plastic wrap and leave in the freezer for at least 4 hours or overnight.

    Next Day

    Free cake from the loaf pan.

    Ice with chocolate if you want to.

    Decorate and enjoy.

  • rum

Ingredients

6 large eggs (organic)

3/4 cup sugar

1 cup flour (AP)

1 tsp baking powder

1/8 tsp salt

1 tsp cornstarch

CHESTNUT FILLING FOR CAKE

2 cups chestnut cream or about 450 gr (check the recipe notes)

1 cup heavy cream

2 tsp rum

INSTRUCTIONS

Use 12×16 inch jelly roll pan, line with aluminum foil (dull side up).

Spray with baking spray and set aside.

Preheat oven to 350 F.

In a large bowl beat 6 eggs and 3/4 cup sugar until triples in volume. (9 minutes)

Sift the flour, cornstarch, baking powder and salt.

Add into eggs mixture and fold gently using a spatula.

Important: Don’t use mixer when adding flour mixture.

Fold using a spatula.

Be sure that flour mixture is incorporated into eggs mixture.

Spread the batter on the prepared jelly roll pan.

Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.

Cool completely. (Don’t roll this cake.)

Mix heavy cream to soft peaks.

Then carefully fold in the chestnut cream and rum.

Be sure to mix all ingredients quickly or until incorporated.

Now, if your cake is cool, spread the cake with chestnut cream filling.

Roll it into a log.

Wrap in plastic wrap and transfer into the freezer.

Ready to serve?

When you are ready to serve, cut into desired sizes, top

with melted chocolate and icing sugar.

2 pieces are size 2×12 inches.

2 pieces are size 4 x 12 inches (this will be used to build the wall around the cake).

You will have some extra cake, just eat it.

Use your first piece (2×12 inch) and spread with Nutella filling.

Roll the first cake.

Spread raspberry jam on second strip/cake and lift it from the foil.

Wrap the second cake around the roll on the serving plate.

Don’t be afraid, just do it.

Now, cover the outside of the cake with raspberry jam. (it is the glue for the wall)

    • NEXT DAY Preheat oven to 350 F. Spray muffin top pan, 12 cavity with baking spray. Using an ice cream scoop (8 oz) to fill muffin top, 12 cavity. Press dough with your hands so it is resting evenly inside of muffin cavity.
    • Bake at 350 F from 10 to 11 minutes. Cool it.
    • Chocolate Icing Heat heavy cream until almost boiled. Pour over chocolate chips. Let it sit for 5 minutes. (don't mix) After 5 minutes Mix until smooth and shiny. Pour over each individual cake. Enjoy this moment. All by yourself. Just YOU and CHOCOLATE! Decorate with grounded walnuts.
    • Optional: Top with heavy cream or your favorite ice cream. Life is good … don't you think??? YES…YES…YES!

      So, how do I describe this cake to you?

      I am not sure I can, but I will try. (don’t judge me)

      Description

      Soft, moist and tender cake filled with raspberry jam and rolled into a log.

      Perfect cake for the summer or winter time. Or really any day of your life.

      Did I mention the recipe is super simple, the ingredients are everyday ingredients.

      Eggs, sugar, flour, raspberry jam and just a little fancy addition, Dr. CHOCOLATE.

      How easy is that?

      And yes, I know you are ready to make this roll cake.

      Ingredients

      6 large eggs (organic)

      3/4 cup sugar

      1 cup flour (AP)

      1 tsp baking powder

      1/8 tsp salt

      1 tsp cornstarch

      Raspberry Jam

      INSTRUCTIONS

      Use 12×16 inch jelly roll pan, line with aluminum foil (dull side up).

      Spray with baking spray and set aside.

      Preheat oven to 350 F.

      In a large bowl beat 6 eggs and 3/4 cup sugar until triples in volume. (9 minutes)

      Sift the flour, cornstarch, baking powder and salt.

      Add into eggs mixture and fold gently using a spatula.

      Important: Don’t use mixer when adding flour mixture.

      Fold using a spatula.

      Be sure that flour mixture is incorporated into eggs mixture.

      Spread the batter on the prepared jelly roll pan.

      Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.

      Cool completely. (for about 2 hours)

      Cut the cake with a knife into five equal pieces.

      The size is 3×12 inches.

      Important:

      Cut through the underlying foil so you can each move independently. (don’t worry)

      Use your first piece (3×12 inch) and spread with raspberry jam.

      You can use as much as you want.

      Roll the first cake. Don’t be afraid, just do it.

      You have to be sure that your cake is aware who the boss is.

      In case you feel just a little insecure regarding the rolling,

      please use the aluminum foil as the cake support.

      Begin to roll the cake into a roll and continue tucking cake

      as you peeling away the aluminum foil.

      Repeat this process until all 5 pieces are rolled.

      Cover with plastic wrap or aluminum foil.

      In a mixing bowl mix 1 1/2 cups of heavy cream for about 3 minutes.

      Add Nutella and chocolate and mix until incorporated. (1 minute)

      Keep in the fridge until your cake is ready.

      Now, if your cake is cool we can start my favorite part…

      ASSEMBLY

      Cut the cake with a knife into five equal pieces.

      The size is 3×12 inches.

      Cut through the underlying foil so you can each move independently. (don’t worry)

      Use your first piece (3×12 inch) and spread with Nutella filling.

      Roll the first cake.

      Use the aluminum foil as the cake support, begin to roll the cake

      into a roll and continue tucking cake as you peeling away the aluminum foil.

      Place the rolled cake upright on a plate. (or what you have for your cake)

      Then back to jelly pan where you have 4 strips of cake left.

      Spread raspberry jam on second strip/cake and lift it from the foil.

      Wrap the second cake around the roll on the serving plate.

      Don’t be afraid, just do it.

      Now use the third cake strip and cover with Nutella filling.

      Lift from the aluminum foil and wrap around the roll on the serving plate.

      Continue with the next 2 strips or until done.

      Then…

      Wrap the whole cake in plastic wrap and keep in the fridge for 3 hours.

      DECORATE

      Top the cake with Nutella filling and decorate with chocolate.

      Keep in the fridge for about 5 hours before you start serving.

      White Raspberry Dream Cake-Never Stop Dreaming

      Hello my dear readers,

      Today on our menu we have…

      Shopping List

      ACTION TIME

      Important:

      Please use ROOM TEMPERATURE EGGS AND MILK.

      Line the bottom of a jelly roll pan (11×17) with aluminum foil and lightly spray with baking spray.

      Set aside.

      Wash one cup of raspberries.

      Dry it.  Use 1/2 cup of raspberries and break into smaller pieces.

      Preheat oven to 350 F.

      Making WHITE RASPBERRY DREAM CAKE


      Ingredients

      5 egg yolks

      4 egg whites

      3 TBSP milk

      2 TBSP olive oil

      1 cup sugar

      1/2 tsp vanilla extract

      3/4 cup flour (AP)

      2 TBSP cornstarch

      1 tsp baking powder (no AL)

      Filling

      8 oz cheese

      1 3/4 cups icing sugar

      1 1/4 cups heavy cream

      1 pouch Knox gelatine

      1 cup fresh raspberries

      Instructions

      Using the whisk attachment mix 5 eggs yolks, 3 TBSP milk, 2 TBSP olive oil, 2/3 cup of sugar and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract for about 5 minutes.

      Sift together 3/4 cup flour. Add 1 tsp baking powder,, 2 TBSP cornstarch and mix into the yolk mixture until well blended.

      In a large bowl, mix 4 egg whites for about 1 minutes and add 1/3 cup sugar.

      Please add sugar slowly and mix for another 2 minutes or until 3 times in volume.

      Use a spatula to fold the egg whites into yellow/eggs mixture until fully incorporated.

      Pour into prepared baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes at 350 F.

      Cool completely.

      While cake is cooling let’s make the filling.

      Mix 8 oz cheese and 1 3/4 cups icing sugar. (for about 2 minutes)

      In another bowl mix 1 1/4 cups heavy cream.

      Add into cheese mixture and mix until incorporated. (for about 1 minute)

      Add 1/2 cup raspberries (cut into small pieces) and mix all ingredients.

      Next step is to add the prepared gelatine. (see instructions below)

      Quickly mix all ingredients.

      Prepare gelatine

      In a small cup sprinkle 1 pouch Knox unflavoured gelatine over 1/4 cup (50 ml) cold water.

      Let stand for 1 minute.

      Add 1/4 cup (50 ml) boiling water and stir until granules are completely dissolved.

      Now your cake is cool and your filling is done.

      You are ready for assemble.

      YOU ARE. Trust me.

      White Raspberry Dream Cake Assembly

      You will need loaf pan (11-5/8″ L x 5-1/8″ W x 2-3/4″ H)

      Line your loaf pan with plastic wrap.

      Now take your cool cake and cut into 2 pieces.

      One is 11×10 size and the other is 11×7

      Now take your bigger pieces (11×10) and place inside of loaf pan.

      Pour your raspberry filing into it and close the top with your second cut part 11×7.

      Cover everything with plastic wrap and leave in the freezer for at least 4 hours or overnight.

      Next Day

      Free cake from the loaf pan.

      Decorate as you wish, share and enjoy.

      Ingredients
      • 5 egg yolks
      • 4 egg whites
      • 3 TBSP milk
      • 2 TBSP olive oil
      • 1 cup sugar
      • ½ tsp vanilla extract
      • ¾ cup flour (AP)
      • 2 TBSP cornstarch
      • 1 tsp baking powder (no AL)
      • Filling
      • 8 oz cheese
      • 1¾ cups icing sugar
      • 1¼ cups heavy cream
      • 1 pouch Knox gelatine
      • 1 cup fresh raspberries
      Instructions
      1. Using the whisk attachment mix 5 eggs yolks, 3 TBSP milk, 2 TBSP olive oil, ⅔ cup of sugar and ½ tsp vanilla extract for about 5 minutes.
      2. Sift together ¾ cup flour. Add 1 tsp baking powder,, 2 TBSP cornstarch and mix into the yolk mixture until well blended.
      3. In a large bowl, mix 4 egg whites for about 1 minutes and add ⅓ cup sugar.
      4. Please add sugar slowly and mix for another 2 minutes or until 3 times in volume.
      5. Use a spatula to fold the egg whites into yellow/eggs mixture until fully incorporated.
      6. Pour into prepared baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes at 350 F.
      7. Cool completely.
      8. While cake is cooling let's make the filling.
      9. Mix 8 oz cheese and 1¾ cups icing sugar. (for about 2 minutes)
      10. In another bowl mix 1¼ cups heavy cream.
      11. Add into cheese mixture and mix until incorporated. (for about 1 minute)
      12. Add ½ cup raspberries (cut into small pieces).
      13. Mix all ingredients for about 30 seconds and add prepared gelatine.
      14. Mix all ingredients for a second.
      15. Prepare gelatine
      16. In a small cup sprinkle 1 pouch Knox unflavoured gelatine over ¼ cup (50 ml) cold water.
      17. Let stand for 1 minute.
      18. Add ¼ cup (50 ml) boiling water and stir until granules are completely dissolved.
      19. Now your cake is cool and your filling is done.
      20. You are ready for assemble.
      21. YOU ARE. Trust me.
      22. White Raspberry Dream Cake Assembly
      23. You will need loaf pan (11-5/8" L x 5-1/8" W x 2-3/4" H)
      24. Line your loaf pan with plastic wrap.
      25. Now take your cool cake and cut into 2 pieces.
      26. One is 11x10 size and the other is 11x7
      27. Now take your bigger pieces (11x10) and place inside of loaf pan.
      28. Pour your raspberry filing into it and close the top with your second cut part 11x7.
      29. Cover everything with plastic wrap and leave in the freezer for at least 4 hours or overnight.
      30. Next Day
      31. Free cake from the loaf pan.
      32. Decorate as you wish, share and enjoy.

      If you are like me and you can’t start your day without a cup of coffee this is your recipe.

      A coffee addict’s dream cake.

      Shopping List

      • brown and white sugar,oil,coffee,egg
      • flour, baking soda,salt
      • chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, heavy cream

      Line a round baking pan with parchment. (8 or 9 inch)

      Now, we are ready to make this amazing cake for all coffee addicts.

      Coffee Addict Dream Cake-Magic from Coffee

      Ingredients

      1 cup brown sugar

      1/4 + 1/8 cup white sugar

      1/2 tsp cappuccino flavoring

      1/2 cup cold coffee

      1/2 cup oil (Crisco)

      1 egg

      1 1/2 cups flour (AP)

      1/2 tsp baking soda

      1 tsp salt

      1/2 cup chocolate chips

      Icing

      1 cup white chocolate chips

      1/4 cup heavy cream

      Instructions

      Preheat oven to 350 F.

      Using a small bowl add flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.

      Add both sugars, egg, oil, coffee, cappuccino flavoring into a mixing bow.

      Mix until all ingredients are incorporated. (about 4 minutes-medium speed)

      Then add flour mixture and mix for a minute or until flour is incorporated into a coffee mixture.

      After this you don’t need mixer.

      Add 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips and stir using a spatula.

      Pour the batter into a prepared 8 inch round baking pan. (or use 9 inch baking pan)

      Bake at 350 F for about 30 minutes.

      Use a toothpick to test if the cake is done.

      If you insert a toothpick into the center of the cake, it should come out clean.

      Cool the cake.

      Meanwhile, make the icing.

      Using a double boiler method, melt white chocolate and whip cream together.

      Pour the icing over the cooled cake.

      Decorate this coffee addict dream cake with coffee beans, grounded coffee or with anything that your sweet soul is asking for.
