Description of FlatBread Recipe

Soft and fluffy or the perfect bread to make as soon as possible. Like NOW. Yes, ladies and gentlemen this is the best bread recipe you will ever make. And I really mean it.

It is a very popular in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Turkey and in Europe. This airy bread is the Balkan Flat bread. It exist under many names like lepinja bread, somun and it can be topped with sesame seeds, cumin, dry oregano and salt. This flatbread can be served with feta cheese, red peppers or if you like meat the choice is the obvious. The cevapi or the hamburger. Add to that fresh chopped onions and you have the winner. The winner for your perfect Friday night dinner or Sunday afternoon lunch.

BTW, if you don’t know what is the cevapi don’t worry…you will learn in this blog in next few weeks. Yes, the recipe is coming. But for now, let’s go back to our bread winner recipe.

What do you need to make this recipe?

SHOPPING LIST FOR BALKAN FLATBREAD

  • flour
  • active yeast
  • yogurt (Greek yogurt)
  • milk
  • water
  • salt
  • sugar
  • olive oil

EQUIPMENT NEEDED

-plastic bowl

-measuring cup

-small glass or cup (for the active yeast)

-baking sheet (12 by 16 or any size you used to bake your bread)

ACTION TIME

MAKING Easy FlatBread Recipe

Ingredients

1 3/4 cups flour

1/2 TBSP salt

150 ml lukewarm water (if you don’t know what is 150 ml check the quick note below)

2 1/2 teaspoons active yeast

1/3 cup milk

1/2 tsp sugar

6 TBSP plain yogurt

1/2 TBSP olive oil

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING THE BEST FLATBREAD

Line your baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper.

In a medium size bowl add flour, salt and stir it. Set aside.

Add the lukewarm water (100 to 115 F) to the small glass or cup.

Then add yeast and sugar into the water and stir briefly to combine.

Allow to rest for about 10 minutes or until frothy.

Meanwhile warm the milk. (it should not be too hot)

When your yeast is ready, add the yeast into the flour salt mixture.

Then add yogurt and start mixing it using the metal or wooden spoon.

Slowly start adding warm milk and keep mixing it.

At this point you can use your hands and mix until a soft dough forms. (for about 3 minutes)

Yes, the dough will be very soft. Don’t worry, it is not the mistake.

Sprinkle the olive oil over the dough, cover with plastic wrap and your kitchen towel.

Let it rise in a warm place for 90 minutes.

On a very well floured surface, divide the dough into 5 or 4 equal pieces. (or 2 if you want larger flat breads).

Your next step is to knead each dough and shape into the perfect ball.

BTW, the kneading is the quick process, just a minute.

Cover all your pieces with kitchen towel and allow to rest for 5 minutes.

BAKING EASY FLATBREAD RECIPE

PREHEAT OVEN TO 500 F. YOU WILL BE USING THE TOP RACK FOR THIS RECIPE.

After 5 minutes, flatten each dough gently with your finger tips into a circle.

Transfer into the prepared baking sheet.

Using the knife, press the lines across the dough.

You can create a diamond pattern on the top. (or any pattern you like)

Optional: Sprinkle each dough with just a few drops of water and top with sesame seeds.

Bake at 500 F for about 10 minutes using the top rack.

Then turn oven to broil for about 1 minute. (or until your desired golden color)

Remove from the oven. Sprinkle the tops with water.

Wrap into a kitchen towel in order to keep your flat bread soft.

Enjoy and share.

I love eating this bread while it is warm. (with feta cheese, sour cream and red peppers)

STORAGE: Keep it for a couple days at room temperature wrap into plastic wrap and then into the kitchen towel.

Quick Note

Flour – I used all purpose, unbleached flour. This recipe was tasted with Robin Hood flour, organic flour and NN all purpose flour.

Active yeast – for this recipe we use active and NOT instant yeast. The active yeast should be bubble after 10 minutes. If nothing is happening after 10 to 15 minutes, please check the best before date. Also, be sure that the water is not too hot.

Milk – I used organic, 3.25% milk.

Yogurt – I used Greek yogurt

What is 150 ml? It is approximately 10 TBSP

Also, it will make you believe in people again…Because we suppose to share just love. So, let’s share love. Love for food or no bake dessert made with my favorite ingredient called Nutella.

SHOPPING LIST FOR NO BAKE RECIPE

  • Nutella
  • Philadelphia Cheese
  • Heavy cream
  • Icing sugar
  • Whip It
  • Lady Fingers
  • Homemade coffee
  • Milk

Equipment Needed

-KitchenAid mixer (or the mixer you are using. Can be hand mixer too)

-mixing bowl

-glass or plastic bowl for coffee/milk mixture

Making Nutella No Bake Desserts – What Love Means

Ingredients

1 package of ladyfingers (36 EA)

coffee/milk mixture (about 1 3/4 cups)

Nutella Filling

1 cup heavy cream

2 cups Nutella

1 Dr Oetker Whip It

Cream Cheese Filling for Cake

12 oz cream cheese (Philadelphia)

1 1/2 cups icing sugar

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract

Instructions for making no bake dessert

Our first step is to prepare Nutella filling.

To the mixing bowl add heavy cream and Whip It.

Mix until soft peaks (almost like softer sour cream)

Then add Nutella and mix until desired thickness.

Transfer to the fridge or until ready to use.

Your next step is to make cream cheese filling and the question is how? Check below.

How to make cream cheese filling?

In a large bowl mix cream cheese and sugar until smooth.

Then add pure vanilla extract. Set aside.

In another bowl whip heavy cream.

Fold the whipped cream into cheese/sugar mixture.

Keep it in the fridge until ready for use.

BEFORE ASSEMBLE OF THE CAKE BE SURE TO HAVE COFFEE READY!

I made about 1 1/4 cup of coffee. Add to that about 1/2 cup cold milk.

Now do you have the following:

  • coffee/milk mixture
  • Nutella filling
  • Cream cheese filling

ASSEMBLE OF NUTELLA NO BAKE DESSERT

Lay aluminum foil or parchment paper on top of flat surface.

Dip ladyfinger into coffee mixture and arrange them in 3 columns (8 ladyfingers for each column)

Be sure that long side of ladyfingers is facing you.

Spread Nutella filling evenly on top of the ladyfingers.

Your next step is important.

Gently roll up the cake from the long side.

Don’t be afraid, just do it.

Transfer to the freezer for about 3 hours.

Remove from the freezer and cover with cream cheese filling.

Decorate with ground walnuts, hazelnuts or shaved chocolate.

Another option is to use your favorite fruits like strawberries, raspberries and so on.

ANOTHER NUTELLA OPTION FROM THIS RECIPE

You will have extra filling left. So what to do?

Lay aluminum foil or parchment paper on top of flat surface

Dip ladyfinger into coffee mixture and arrange them in 1 column (I used 12 ladyfingers for this recipe)

Spread cream cheese filling evenly on top of the ladyfingers.

Gently roll up the cake. It will look very FAT. Don’t worry.

Just do it.

Transfer to the freezer for a few hours. (at least 1 hour)

Then remove from the freezer and cover with Nutella filling.

Decorate as you wish.

Also, you can cover with melted chocolate, Nutella ganache – check the link

So, you just made your second roll cake.

And this one, don’t share. Just enjoy by yourself. (after all what love is if not being kind to yourself…I hope)

Quick Note

Cream Cheese – use your favorite cream cheese. It can be Philadelphia, mascarpone or no name cheese for baking.

Heavy Cream – please don’t use half and half. Use the real heavy cream, 33% or higher.

Nutella – my favorite place to buy is Costco. It is way cheaper than other stores. You get the package of 2 kg for $14 in Canada.

Description of Belgian Best Waffle Recipe

So, what makes a Belgian waffle different? Belgian waffles are usually thicker and they have deeper pockets. Yes, having an extra deep pockets allow you to add more jam, more Nutella, maple syrup, whipped cream or just butter. And more is always better.

Traditionally Belgian waffle are made with yeast and there is separation of egg yolks and egg whites inside of the recipe. Our recipe today is not going to be 100% traditional Belgian waffles but it will be still the best Belgian waffles. So, let’s do it.

SHOPPING LIST FOR BELGIAN WAFFLES

  • flour (all purpose, unbleached)
  • sugar
  • eggs
  • milk
  • butter (unsalted, the best you can afford)
  • baking powder
  • salt
  • pure vanilla extract
  • heavy cream, maple syrup, chocolate, Nutella, jam

Equipment Needed

-Belgian Waffle Maker

-Mixer (KitchenAid or your favorite mixer)

-Mixing bowl

-Medium size bowl (for eggs and milk)

ACTION TIME

MAKING Belgian Best Waffle Recipe-True Love

Ingredients

2 cups flour

1 1/2 TBSP white sugar

1/2 tsp salt

1 TBSP baking powder

1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 1/2 cups milk

1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING BELGIAN WAFFLES

Add eggs and milk into medium size bowl and whisk.

Then add melted butter and vanilla.

Whisk until all ingredients are incorporated.

In a mixing bowl add flour, white sugar, baking powder and salt.

Create a well in the center and add wet ingredients.

Whisk until blended.

IMPORTANT: Do not overmix and check the thickness. If it is too thick, add a little of milk or if it is too thin add a little of flour.

Plug in your Belgian Waffle Iron to preheat.

Please follow the instructions of the waffle machine you bough.

Pour the batter into the hot iron. (the amount is based on the size of your waffle iron)

Again, cook according to your waffle instructions.

Serve with your favorite toppings.

How to Make Organic Yogurt

Ingredients

6 cups of milk(3.25%)

3 TBSP sour cream

3 TBSP yogurt

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING HOMEMADE YOGURT

Your first step is to place 6 cups of milk or 1.5 l in a large pot and heat milk to 33 to 35 Celsius or (91 to 95 F)

Meanwhile, in a small cup mix sour cream and yogurt until combined.

When your milk reach a temperature 91 to 95 F (33 to 35 C), remove from the heat.

Mix in the mixture of sour cream and yogurt, stirring until yogurt is well blended.

Cover with lid, plastic wrap or aluminum foil.

Wrap in warm towel. (just think kid going skiing).

IMPORTANT:

Be sure the room is not cold. (yes, this is super important)

Then let it sit overnight. (8 to 10 hours)

Way cheaper than buying yogurt at the store (so, yes you will save a lots of money)

It is healthy (there is no sugar or additives

Ingredients

  • 6 cups of milk(3.25%)
  • 3 TBSP sour cream
  • 3 TBSP yogurt

Instructions

    Your first step is to place 6 cups of milk or 1.5 l in a large pot and heat milk to 33 to 35 Celsius or (91 to 95 F)

    Meanwhile, in a small cup mix sour cream and yogurt until combined.

    When your milk reach a temperature 91 to 95 F (33 to 35 C), remove from the heat.

    Mix in the mixture of sour cream and yogurt, stirring until yogurt is well blended.

    Cover with lid, plastic wrap or aluminum foil.

    Wrap in warm towel. (just think kid going skiing).

    IMPORTANT:

    Be sure the room is not cold. (yes, this is super important)

    Then let it sit overnight. (8 to 10 hours)

    Transfer to the fridge for a 6 to 8 hours. (I left it for 6 hrs)

    Yes, you just made your homemade organic yogurt.

Descriptions of Best Tiramisu Recipe

This is the best Tiramisu recipe you will ever make. It is the MAGICAL recipe.

To make this recipe, you need simple ingredients. All of them will be listed below under the title called shopping list.

The steps to make this no bake recipe are:

  • first layer of the coffee soaked ladyfingers
  • cover with tiramisu cheese mixture
  • second layer of soaked ladyfingers
  • finish with the rest of tiramisu cheese mixture
  • top with cocoa, shaved chocolate or ground coffee

IMPORTANT:When making whipped cream be sure to start the mixing process slowly. Then increase the speed and whip the heavy cream until desired thickness. Why is this important? Because you want to make a whip cream that will last for days in the fridge. (another option is to add Dr. Oetker’s Whip It or gelatin)

SHOPPING LIST FOR ITALIAN TIRAMISU

  • Ladyfingers
  • cream cheese
  • sugar
  • icing sugar

  • heavy cream

My Best Tiramisu Recipe (Easy Mini Tiramisu)

Ingredients

2 egg yolks

1/4 cup regular white sugar

8 oz cream cheese (you can use Philadelphia or mascarpone cheese)

1/2 cup icing sugar

1 cup heavy cream

2 tsp pure vanilla extract

1 TBSP hazelnut extract or rum

package of ladyfingers (I used 15 ladyfingers)

1 1/4 cups strong coffee

cocoa for magical dusting

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING HOMEMADE TIRAMISU

Important: You can make this recipe in 8 by 8 inch pan or 9 by 5 pan plus 2 mini jars

My choice is 9 by 5 pan. So line 9 by 5 pan with aluminum foil. Set aside. Also prepare 2 mini jars for mini tiramisu.

Your next step is to make very strong coffee.

For this recipe I used 1 and 1/4 cups homemade coffee. (hazelnut flavour)

Then add hazelnut extract and pure vanilla into hot coffee. Stir all ingredients together. Set aside to cool until you make the cheese filling.

MAKING CHEESE FILLING

Add egg yolks and sugar to the mixing bowl.

Mix at high speed for about 6 minutes.

Then add 8 oz of Philadelphia cheese (room temperature) and mix until combined.

Your next step is to add icing sugar and mix it in. (1 minute)

In another mixing bowl mix heavy cream. (check important note)

Add whipped heavy cream to the cheese mixture and quickly mix. (until combined)

Then add pure vanilla extract and stir until combined.

How to assemble the tiramisu?

Dip ladyfingers into coffee mixture and place into 9 by 5 pan.

(I used 3 whole + 3 trimmed ladyfingers for the bottom)

Spread half of the cheese mixture on top of ladyfingers.

Repeat process with the second layer of ladyfingers and cream mixture.

Dust with cocoa magic.

And now the SECRET: Cover and transfer to the fridge for 24 hrs. (Yes, I know). This is the secret.

After 24 hours you will taste the best homemade tiramisu EVER!

MAKING MINI TIRAMISU RECIPE

I used 2 small glass jars.

Break each ladyfinger into 3 pieces.

Then dip them into the coffee (just for a second) and place them into the jars. (or glass)

Cover with cheese mixture.

Repeat process with the second layer of ladyfingers and cream mixture.

Dust with cocoa. (or chocolate or nothing)

Cover jars with lids or plastic wrap.

Refrigerate for 24 hours. (if you can)

Quick Note

Cheese – if you can use mascarpone cheese. It is expensive. If you can’t find it use Philadelphia cream cheese. (original, don’t use light version)

Eggs – this recipe is using raw egg yolks. So be sure to use fresh, organic eggs. If you are afraid of raw egg yolks, you can cook egg yolks using double boiler method.

Ladyfingers – check Walmart, Superstore, Safeway or any food store.

Heavy Cream – use 33% or higher

Icing sugar – if you don’t have the icing sugar, just make homemade version. Use coffee grinder or blender to make icing sugar from regular.

Cocoa – I used organic from Costco. If you don’t like the taste of cocoa use shaved chocolate or ground coffee.

The recipe is using all of your favorite ingredients or I like to say “whatever floats your boat”.

Since the recipe is super easy, we need to start with our first step which is shopping. And for shopping you need..

  • French Bread
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Feta cheese
  • Eggs
  • peppers
  • garlic
  • onions (optional)
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • oregano

ACTION TIME

Making French Bread Cheese Boat

Ingredients

1 loaf of French Bread

4 eggs, large

1 1/2 cups grated mozzarella cheese

spinach (just to cover the top of the eggs)

1 small pepper, chopped

3 cloves of garlic,minced

1/2 onion, chopped (optional)

salt, pepper and oregano to your taste

feta cheese to your taste

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING CHEESE BOAT

Preheat oven to 375 F.

Line baking sheet with aluminum foil.

Now you are ready for the recipe.

Your first step is to cut the top of the bread.

Then scoop out the bread in the center and make your French bread boat.

Place your French bread boat in a baking sheet or pan (9 by 13 inch).

Add grated mozzarella cheese into the hollow center of the bread.

Crack 4 eggs on top of the cheese and season with salt, black pepper and oregano.

Cover eggs with spinach and top with the rest of grated mozzarella cheese and peppers .

Bake at 375 F for 30 to 35 minutes. (depends how baked you want your eggs to be)

Remove from oven and top with fresh garlic and feta cheese.

Optional: you can add fresh tomatoes, Italian parsley, chopped onions.

French Bread – I used store bought French Bread ($1.19 in Canada)

Onion – I did not use onions but if you like it add chopped, fresh onions to the baked French Bread Cheese Boat.

Hello my FAB readers,

This is not your “usual recipe” from 5 star cookies but it is the recipe. Why? Because is healthy and must make recipe for you and your family. If you are still asking why please read description below.

DESCRIPTION of MAKING SOUR CABBAGE RECIPE

Making delicious homemade sour cabbage is easy. Can I say again: HEALTHY!

And your body is asking for it. Your body knows the benefits of eating it. It is full of vitamins B, C, E, K, B12 and more. So, please listen to your body. And make it happen.

The fermentation process takes about 21 days or 3 weeks. A lots of people are intimidated by the process but it is as easy as A – B – C. BTW, we will provide step by step instructions if you never done it or seen it.

Before we start with the recipe this is what you must HAVE.

  1. Fermentation container with tight fitting lid – I bought mine at Peavey Mart for $5. It should be large enough to hold the amount of cabbage heads you want to make. So, check your hardware stores and buy food safe container with lid.
  2. Store it in cool place in your home. You will need to open up every few days to make sure that cabbage heads are completely covered by water.
  3. IMPORTANT: Be aware of the aromas or smell from the cabbages so store it somewhere where it is safe to feel the natural smell. It is so worth it.

How to Make Sour Cabbage

Ingredients

6 whole cabbage heads (I used organic cabbage)

salt

water

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING HOMEMADE CABBAGE ROLLS

Your first step is to clean each cabbage head from damaged or dirty leaves.

So, let me repeat peel off or remove damaged outer leaves.

Your next step is important. So, don’t be afraid.

Important: you want hole to be very deep, almost to the bottom of the cabbage head.

Use a sharp knife with a sturdy blade and remove the core.

Again, you will find the easiest way to do it.

Cut a rectangular wedge around the core and keep going until you remove the core.

Then fill the hole with salt. (to the top, check the pictures below)

Place the whole heads in the container, core side up and repeat until you used all cabbage heads.

Stack the cabbages as tightly as it is possible.

Then sprinkle about 1/2 cup of salt on top of cabbage heads.

Then take your container into “the secret healthy aroma room”, don’t cover with lid and leave it for about 30 hours. (day or two)

AFTER 30 HOURS steps for making sour cabbage

After 30 hours pour the warm, salty water over the cabbages or about 3 inches above the cabbage heads.

Important for making salty water: for 10 liters of water add 1 cup of salt and stir until salt is incorporated.

Place the plate on top of the cabbages to keep them submerged.

Then on top of the plate place something heavy.

It can be clean stone or food safe heavy object. (be sure you can add lid on top of that)

So, let me repeat.

Cover with lid and let the magic happen.

You will need to check almost every day and scoop off the foamy stuff on top.

Important: Add more salt if you need it.

The cabbage will be done in 3 weeks or 21 days. (unless it is cold room)

Yes! Yes and yes. Then you can make all magical recipe you like.

It can be the best cabbage rolls or cabbage salad.

On top of that you can enjoy super healthy sauerkraut water.

Making delicious homemade sour cabbage is easy and healthy. And your body is asking for it.

Ingredients

  • 6 whole cabbage heads (I used organic cabbage)
  • salt
  • water

Instructions

    INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING HOMEMADE CABBAGE ROLLS

    Your first step is to clean each cabbage head from damaged or dirty leaves.

    So, let me repeat peel off or remove damaged outer leaves.

    Your next step is important. So, don't be afraid.

    Important: you want hole to be very deep, almost to the bottom of the cabbage head.

    Use a sharp knife with a sturdy blade and remove the core.

    Again, you will find the easiest way to do it.

    Cut a rectangular wedge around the core and keep going until you remove the core.

    Then fill the hole with salt. (to the top, check the pictures below)

    Place the whole heads in the container, core side up and repeat until you used all cabbage heads.

    Stack the cabbages as tightly as it is possible.

    Then sprinkle about 1/2 cup of salt on top of cabbage heads.

    Then take your container into "the secret healthy aroma room", don't cover with lid and leave it for about 30 hours. (day or two)

    AFTER 30 HOURS

    After 30 hours pour the warm, salty water over the cabbages or about 3 inches above the cabbage heads.

    Important for making salty water: for 10 liters of water add 1 cup of salt and stir until salt is incorporated.

    Place the plate on top of the cabbages to keep them submerged.

    Then on top of the plate place something heavy.

    It can be clean stone or food safe heavy object. (be sure you can add lid on top of that)

    So, let me repeat.

    Cover with lid and let the magic happen.

    You will need to check almost every day and scoop off the foamy stuff on top.

    Important: Add more salt if you need it.

    The cabbage will be done in 3 weeks or 21 days. (unless it is cold room)

Yes, this is a simple home remedy that requires only two healthy, happy ingredients. And 2 happy ingredients will help us to remove fat and parasites from our bodies. Did I mention another important benefits? LOSING WEIGHT! Yes, I know. The angels are singing…and as they are singing I am moving to the kitchen to make this amazing healthy recipe.

SHOPPING LIST

  • Flaxseed (organic if you can)
  • Cloves

-Blender of Coffee grinder

-small jar to store ground cloves

Making 2 Ingredient Healthy RecipesFlaxseed and Cloves

Ingredients

1/2 tsp ground cloves

1 TBSP of flaxseed (it will give you 1 TBSP + 1/2 TBSP when you ground)

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING HEALTHY RECIPE

Find very small glass jar with lid. Set aside.

Then ground cloves using blender or coffee grinder. Store in glass jar with lid.

Important: You can ground as much as you like. I ground about 30 gr of cloves.

Our next step is what needs to be done every morning, check below.

SUPER IMPORTANT: The flaxseed need to be ground every morning. It has to be fresh. NO STORING. YES!

Yes, every morning take 1 TBSP of flaxseed and ground. You will get about 1 and 1/2 TBSP of ground flaxseed.

Transfer ground flaxseed into cup and add 1/2 tsp of ground cloves.

Stir two ingredients together and mix with 3/4 cup of plain yogurt. Drink immediately.

Also, you can use water instead of yogurt or just add the healthy mixture to your favorite breakfast.

BTW, these 2 ingredients are so powerfull to destroy fat stocks and clean your body from parasites.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU USE THIS RECIPE?

Use this mixture every morning for 3 consecutive days. After 3 days take 3 days break and repeat for 30 days.

SHOPPING LIST FOR LEVAIN COOKIES RECIPE

  • butter
  • brown sugar and white sugar
  • eggs
  • flour (all purpose and cake)
  • mini chocolate chips
  • regular chocolate chips
  • Lindt chocolate (70% cocoa)
  • walnuts
  • baking soda, powder
  • corn starch
  • vanilla extract

Equipment Needed

-KitchenAid mixer (or the mixer you are using. Can be hand mixer too)

-mixing bowl

-glass or plastic bowl for dry ingredients

-baking sheet (16 by 12 inches)

I promise you this is the best cookie recipe you will ever make. After all it is the most popular chocolate cookies according to Dr. Google and Youtube…so let’s do it.

Levain Chocolate Chip Cookies (The Best #1)

Ingredients:

1 cup chilled unsalted butter (COLD BUTTER)

1/2 cup white sugar

1 cup dark brown sugar

2 large cold eggs

1 tsp vanilla

2 cups AP flour

1 cup cake flour

1/4 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp baking powder

1 TBSP corn starch

1/2 mini chocolate chips

1 3/4 cup regular chocolate chipe

Lind chocolate 70% cocoa ( I used 50 gr)

1 cup toasted and chopped walnuts

Instructions for making chocolate chips cookies

First step is dry ingredients to the bowl.

So, add all purpose flour, cake flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda and corn starch.

Stir until all dry ingredients are combined. Set aside.

Your next step is super important.

Cube 1 cup of chilled butter into 1″ pieces.

Put white and brown sugar in stand mixer bowl and mix until well combined.

Then add cold cubed butter and continue mixing for about 5 min. (image 3 below)

Your next step is to add eggs, one at a time until well incorporated. (eggs are from the fridge, no room temperature)

Add 1 tsp vanilla and mix.

Then add flour mixture to batter mixture and mix until fully incorporated.

Add all chocolates and 1 cup of walnuts and mix by hand.

Refrigerate cookie dough from 2 hrs to overnight (12 hrs).

I got 12 cookies out of this recipe.

Preheat oven to 375 F.

Using ice cream scoop, form cookie dough balls. (4oz)

Bake for 15 min.

Important: Do not over bake. As soon as the top begins to show a golden color, remove them out of the oven.

FREEZING Levain Chocolate Chip Cookies

If you want to freeze the cookies the steps are following:

Using ice cream scoop, form cookie dough balls. (4oz)

Make each of them into round smooth ball.

Important: If you like cookies looking rustic then don’t smooth the cookies with your hand.

Then individually wrap each cookie and place in a freezer safe bag.

Freeze for up to 3 months.

When baking frozen cookies, bake at 375 F for about 16 to 17 minutes.

Quick Note

Butteruse unsalted, cold butter. No room temperature butter for this recipe. Yes, you are using cold from the fridge butter.

Important: be sure you cut the butter into 1 inch cubes

Chocolate chips– use the best quality you can afford. (Guittard brand, Ghirardelli or your favorite brand)

Chocolate – I used about Lindt chocolate, 70% cocoa. The amount I used is 50 grams

Eggs – be sure you are using large, organic and COLD EGGS. (eggs from the fridge). Yes, for this recipe you don’t need to bring eggs to the room temperature.
