Since, imagine is a fictional but an appealing word we need to move into the action mode in order to make it happen.
So, find your kitchen, get your ingredients and let’s start making the best chocolate cookies.
They are Levain Bakery Chocolate Chip Cookies Clone.
The list of ingredients are:
butter, brown and white sugar, eggs, vanilla, flour (all purpose and cake),salt,powder,baking soda,corn starch, chocolate chips and walnuts.
For you who don’t like pictures please check the list of ingredients below:
1 cup chilled unsalted butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup dark brown sugar
2 large cold eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups AP flour
1 cup cake flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 TBSP corn starch
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips ( I used Ghirardelli)
1 cup toasted chopped walnuts
Now, if you have all ingredients from above recipe we can start making chocolate chip cookies
Cube 1 cup of chilled butter into 1″ pieces.
Put white and brown sugar in stand mixer bowl and mix until well combined.
Add cold cubed butter and continue mixing for about 5 min.
Add eggs, one at a time until well incorporated.
Add 1 tsp vanilla and mix.
In a bowl combing all purpose and cake flour,salt, baking powder, baking soda and corn starch.
Whisk until all dry ingredients are well mixed.
Add flour mixture to butter mixture and mix until fully incorporated.
Add 2 cups of chocolate chips and 1 cup of walnuts and mix by hand.
Refrigerate cookie dough from 2 hrs to overnight (12 hrs).
Preheat oven to 375 F.
Using ice cream scoop, form cookie dough balls. (4oz)
Bake for 15 min.
If you freeze cookie balls bake them for 16 or 17 min.
I got 13 cookies out of this recipe.
