My Dream Pie – Grandma’s Cheese Dream Pie

Name: Grandma's Cheese Dream Pie
Prep time: 15 min
Cook time: 30 min
Total time: 45 min

Ingredients: Cheese Filling; -1 3/4 cup cottage cheese; -2 cups dry cottage cheese; -1/3 cup feta cheese; -3 eggs; -1 1/4 cup hot water; -1/2 tbsp salt; -1/2 tsp baking powder; -1 pound thawed filo dough; -----------------------------------------------------------------------------; Milk Topping:; -1 egg; -1/4 +1/8 cup cold milk; -1/8 tsp black pepper

IMPORTANT

-Bring phyllo to room temperature before using.

-Phyllo will dry out very quickly. Keep it in the plastic packaging until you are ready to use or cover with a kitchen towel.

Grandma’s Cheese Dream Pie

Cheese Filling

1 3/4 cup cottage cheese

2 cups dry cottage cheese

1/3 cup feta cheese

3 eggs

1 1/4 cup hot water

1/2 tbsp salt

1/2 tsp baking powder

1 pound thawed phyllo dough

Topping:

1 egg

1/4 +1/8 cup cold milk

1/8 tsp black pepper ( you can add more if you like black pepper)

Instructions

In deeper dish mix 1 3/4 cups cottage cheese, 2 cups dry cottage cheese, 1/3 cup feta cheese and 3 eggs.

Add 1 1/4 cups hot water, 1/2 Tbsp salt and 1/2 tsp baking powder.

Mix all ingredients well. (use a wooden or metallic spoon to mix it. You don’t need a mixer)

Set aside.

Grease 9×13 pan with oil. (use 3 TBSP oil,be generous)

Place 3 sheets of phyllo into prepared 9×13 pan, with their ends crossing.

Take another 2 sheets and set aside. (it will be used later, cover with kitchen towel)

Then take the rest of the sheets, one by one and dip into the cheese filling.

Repeat this until you have all sheets inside of your cheese filling.

Be sure they are all inside of cheese filling. (they will need to get along)

Once they are comfortable and cozy with each other you will change their life style. Again.

You will pour all of them and cheese mixture into prepared 9×13 pan (on top of 3 sheets).

Now those ends that are hanging on the sides put over the filling.

Top with 2 sheets (folded so that fits the size of 9×13). It doesn’t need to be perfect.

Top with 1/3 cup of oil.

Next step is to make the topping.

TOPPING

Mix 1 egg, 1/4+1/8 cup cold milk (2%)

Mix well and with that topping coat the top sheet.

Cut into squares.

Preheat oven at 400 F.

Bake for about 25 minutes.

Chocolate Skor Popcorn-Your Friday Joy

I have special treat for you.

Chocolate Skor Popcorn

For this recipe you will need the following:

popcorn kernels,oil,butter,brown sugar,light corn syrup,semisweet chocolate,Skor

Now, let’s make it happen.

Baking Show Time

3-2-1

Ingredients

1/2 cup popcorn kernels

1/4 cup oil

2 tsp salt

1/2 cup butter

1/4 +1/8 cup brown sugar

1/4 + 1 TBSP corn syrup

—————————–

3 oz chocolate

—————————–

Optional: Sprinkles

Instructions

Line baking sheet with a parchment or wax paper.

Add 1/2 cup of popcorn kernels and 1/4 cup oil into a large pot.

Cover with a lid and heat. until kernels start popping.

Before the kernels start popping you will hear the sound of your oil, heating and heating very high.

At that point if you can speak the kernel’s language you will hear: “We are about to explode. Please help.”

To help our lovely kernels inside moving, try to move the pot back and forth across the burner (shake it gently).

As you keep shaking it the kernels will be exploding into a new life.

Keep going until the the popping slows down and there is a long pause between pops.

At that point, please remove popcorn from the heat.

Transfer to a large bowl. Let them rest and cool.

(For this recipe you will use 6 cups of popcorn.)

While the popcorn is resting you will be making addition to their new life.

Part 2

Using a very large pot add 1/4 cup butter, 1/4 + 1/8 cup brown sugar and 1/4 cup +1 TBSP corn syrup.

Heat all ingredients over medium heat until brown sugar is dissolved.

Increase the heat and boil for 2 minutes.

Remove from the heat and immediately add 6 cups of popcorn into it.

Mix everything together using a wooden spoon.

Transfer to the prepared baking sheet and let set.

Meanwhile use 3 oz of semisweet chocolate and melt it.

How?

Put 3 oz chocolate into a heatproof bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water.

Heat until melted.

Sprinkle the popcorn with 1/3 cup Skor pieces and drizzle with the melted chocolate.

So, let’s try to make this delicious meal.

Ingredients

1/3 cup of polenta

1 1/3 cup water

1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

Pour 1 and 1/3 cup water, 1/2 tsp salt into a medium saucepan and bring to the boil.

Once the water is boiling, add 1/3 cup polenta.

Lower the heat to medium-low and stirring constantly cook the polenta until thickens.

I will repeat again: Stir NON-STOP until thickens and little bubbles “erupt”!

For me it was 4 minutes.

Remove from the heat. Serve…

However, the chocolate in me prevented all of my unhappy fillings to be exposed towards the Universe. (so, thank you, chocolate)

After all, I have a very special mission.

I need to share this with the billions and billions of people.

And for sure, the Universe can help.

So, with the help from the Universe I am sharing the best chocolate chip cookies.

5 STAR CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

Can you ask for more?

Of course you can. If you are Megyn Kelly, you can even write the book “Settle for more”.

Keeping that in mind let’s make the best 5 star chocolate chip cookies.

I hope the millions of people will be touched by this recipe. ( what happen with the billions?-Universe is asking)

Time for the Baking Show

5 STAR CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

Ingredients

3/4 cup unsalted butter,melted

3/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup sugar

1 egg

1 egg yolk

1 1/2 cups flour (AP)

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 tsp baking soda

100 gr Lindt Chocolate

5 oz semisweet chocolate (chopped)

Instructions

You will need 2 bowls
In a bowl #1, combine 3/4 cup melted butter, 3/4 cup brown sugar and 1/4 cup sugar.

Use the spoon to mix all ingredients.

Add 1 egg, 1 egg yolk. Stir until smooth. (use wooden spoon)

In a bowl #2 combine 1 1/2 cup flour, 1/4 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp baking soda.

Stir ingredients from the bowl #2 into the bowl #1.

Mix all ingredients together using a wooden spoon.

Your mixture will look like…see the picture below.

Add chopped chocolate.

Mix chopped chocolate into flour/egg mixture.

Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.

The size of ice cream scoop is 2 oz.

We are making a very special candy.

I called it Sweet Home Alabama Bark.

Have you seen the movie or heard the song?

If you never did, you can still make this amazing chocolate candy.

Sweet Home Alabama Bark

Time for fan in your kitchen!

3-2-1 Baking show starts right now

Ingredients

2 1/3 cup white chocolate chips or Wilton Candy Melts

1 package butterscotch chips (11 oz)

1 package Nestle Aero Truffle (vanilla truffle), break into smaller pieces

1/3 cup ground walnuts

Instructions

Melt 2 1/3 cup of white chocolate over a pan of barely simmering water.

Allow chocolate to melt.

Spread into the Sweet Creations mold with a spatula. (or mold of your choice, you can use just pan 9 X 13 or 9 x 9)

The next step is to melt butterscotch chips over a pan of barely simmering water.

Once the butterscotch chips are melted, remove bowl from heat.

Add pieces of Nestle chocolate and walnuts.

Cool for 4 hours.

I am so in love with you. Yes, you! The whole country.

And I am proud of it.

Being in love with streets, buildings, the culture…Just saying the word Paris brings me so much joy.

And if you think I am crazy, I might agree with you.

Crazy in love is my name when it comes to France.

So, let’s share this love with the Universe and visit one of the best kitchen in the France.

Crepes Kitchen!

Shopping List

Flour
Milk
Eggs
Water
Nutella

Now, if you have all ingredients we can start our baking show.

CREPES TIME

Ingredients

1 cup flour

1 cup water

1 cup milk

2 eggs

1/8 tsp salt

Instructions

Using a kitchen-aid mixer mix 1 cup flour, 1 cup milk, 1 cup water, 2 eggs and 1/8 tsp salt together.

You can use blender if you want to.

Be sure that all ingredients are mixed well.

IMPORTANT! The batter must be smooth.

You can refrigerate batter if you want for up to 3 days.

(I never do).

Next step is to heat and grease the pan. ( I used very small one, 5 inches.)

Grease the pan using 1/2 tsp of oil.

Heat 5 inch pan until hot.

Pour 1/4 cup of batter into the center of the pan.

Swirl it to spread the batter evenly over the bottom.

Cook for 1 to 2 minutes, until the crepe is golden on the bottom.

How do you know if you can flip the crepe. Check the picture below.

When the whole crepe is golden you can flip.See the picture below and don’t be afraid.

Flip the crepe. Carefully work the knife underneath it to flip.

Cook the second side for about 1/2 minute or until golden.

Slide the finished crepe onto a plate.

Repeat until all the batter is used.

Assemble Crepes Line

Place one crepe on a plate and fill with Nutella. (you can add as much as you want to. I used 1 TBSP of Nutella/crepe)
