Yes, ladies and gentlemen this is your chocolate heaven recipe.
And to top that...let's pause for a moment. It is also healthy. (maybe not 100 % but who wants perfection ... it is not healthy for you).
The base of this recipe - walnuts and dates.
For the filling you can use dark chocolate (70% and more) or you can use semi sweet chocolate.
It is your choice.
Your last step is the "magic Lindor hello" called Lindor chocolate truffles. I used white chocolate truffles. (love, love them)
Optional: Line a tart pan with plastic wrap. Set aside.
For Crust:
Add walnuts and dates to your food processor.
Let’s the magic happen or pulse until the crust is crumbly and hold together when pinched.
Press into a tart pan. I used 13 3/4 x 4 3/8 or 35 x 11 cm.
Cover with foil and transfer to a freezer for 3 hours.
Chocolate Filling
In a medium saucepan, heat the heavy cream until almost boiled. (you will see tiny bubbles around the edges of the saucepan)
Remove from heat and pour over chocolate chips.
Start daydreaming for 3 minutes then start stirring until the cream and chocolate is blended and smooth.
Pour the filling over the walnut/date crust and return to fridge. (for about 1/2 hour or until is cooled)
After that top with Lindor chocolate truffles.
Optional: Decorate with grounded walnuts, icing sugar or sprinkles.
Return to the fridge for a few hours or overnight.
Enjoy and share.
