Healthy Ginger Cinnamon Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup fresh ginger
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Instructions

  1. Add Water, ginger and cinnamon stick to a smaller pot.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 1/2 hour or until liquid is reduced by half.
  4. Strain to remove ginger. Cool to room temperature and add 1/2 cup honey.
  5. Transfer ginger syrup to a jar and store in the fridge.
