Irish and Soldiers Cookies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 TBSP vanilla
- 2 tsp green food coloring
- 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cups AP flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup cocoa
Instructions
- Beat butter and sugars until combined.
- Add egg,vanilla and mix for 2 min.
- Add the food coloring and beat until combined.
- Mix all dry ingredients together.
- Pour them into wet ingredients.
- Mix it by mixer (use low speed) or by hand.
- Add white and semi-sweet chocolate chips. Mix it by hand.
- Cover with the plastic wrap and chill for 2 hrs and up to 3 days.
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Use 1.5 TBSP of dough and mold into ball (like half size tennis ball) and place it into baking sheet. Bake for 11 min.
