Ingredients

  • Chestnut Syrup
  • 1 bag of chestnut (about 9 chestnuts)
  • 1 1/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 TBSP pure vanilla extract
  • Coffee
  • 3/4 cup strong coffee
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (heated)
  • Praline Crumble
  • 1 3/4 cups hazelnuts
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • Decoration
  • Heavy or whipped cream

Instructions

    Your first step is to make syrup.

    In a small saucepan add sugar and water.

    Bring to boil and boil for 3 minutes.

    Remove from heat and cool.

    Add vanilla extract and stir together. Set aside.

    Coarsely chop the chestnuts and put in a food processor.

    Add chestnut syrup to food processor and blend until smooth.

    Making Coffee

    I made Turkish coffee. You can make any strong coffee you like.

    Heat heavy cream in a small saucepan. (until almost boiled)

    ASSEMBLE THE CHESTNUT PRALINE LATTE

    1/8 cup chestnut syrup

    3/4 cup hot coffee

    1/4 heavy cream (almost boiled)

    Whipped cream

    Praline crumble

    Instructions

    Find your favorite cup and add 1/8 cup chestnut syrup to the bottom.

    Follow by hot coffee and stir to combine.

    Pour in the heavy cream.

    Top with the whipped cream and praline crumble.
