Happy Orthodox Easter!
Wishing you a very Happy Easter !!!
Love and hugs,
Do you need to butter someone up? Like your husband, your boss…
or do you want to make magic in your kitchen that will help you lose 20 lbs . (You will learn more about it in my next post).
Yes, I am talking about making homemade butter. Do you even remember what kind of butter it is?
Pure, unadulterated, rich and creamy and fatty, and above all, your own creation.
If you want your butter to be “the best one” you need and you must pay attention to the quality of the milk.
So, my tip number one: Buy the high quality milk (the best one you can find and afford).
I like to say I want milk from happy cows-cows that have been happily munching grass. It will produce richer, sweeter tasting milk and cream—which translates into better butter.
For this recipe you need only one ingredient:
Whipping Cream (2 cups). It has to be room-temperature cream.
Put 2 cups of cream into mixer and whip it on high speed for about 10 min.
It will initially whip up into whipped cream but keep going.
The whipped cream will get thicker and thicker, like whipped butter. Keep whipping. You will see sudden change
when the milk fat and solids separate out dramatically, leaving thin liquid behind.
What you see is the butter fat separating from the buttermilk.
Be sure to use your kitchen towel to cover up any open areas to avoid splashing.
Very important: Please drain away all of that buttermilk and use it for your favorite recipe.
To finish the butter, pour 2 cups of your ice water over the butter, into the mixer, and rinse the remaining buttermilk out of the butter by running mixer on medium speed.
Once again, drain the excess water at the bottom of the mixing bowl
Repeat the cold water rinse (3 or 4 times), until water is clear after mixing. Drain any remaining water into sink.
The more thoroughly you rinse, the longer your butter will last.
Using your spatula, loosen the butter from the whisk and press butter fat onto the side of the mixing bowl to remove any excess water.
Then pack it into an airtight container or into some plastic wrap. It can store it in the fridge for up to 2-4 weeks.
Sending you love and hugs,
Have you ever had this problem when “cream puffs” collapse in front of your eyes and you have no idea why?
Well, I will give you 5 top tips to create successful cream puffs.
Your Inbox Questions
1.What is choux paste?
Choux paste is one of the foundational doughs of pastry making. It is used for eclairs, classic French cakes, profiteroles.
The preparation of the dough is unique and starts on top of the stove. Flour, butter and water are heated until the mixture resembles mashed potatoes.
Off the heat, eggs are stirred in until the mixture is enough soft to pipe through a pastry bag.
2. My cream puffs have points when I finish piping? What should I do?
Dampen your index finger into cold water and just smooth it. This step is important because if you don’t smooth them, little peaks will burn black before the puffs are baked through.
Also, you need to improve your piping technique. Hold the pastry bag about 1 inch from the parchment paper and squeeze out a round of pastry. When it is size you want , stop squeezing the bag before you lift it away.
3. How do I store cream puffs?
If you will be using them in 24 hrs you can store unfilled puffs in a resealable plastic bag at room temperature.
You can freeze them for up to 2 weeks.
The last tip for this post is:
Use a large saucepan to cook the batter. You will need plenty of room for vigorous stirring.

5 STAR COOKIES.
I heard so many times:”Parsley is a miracle! It helps you drop the pounds. ”
Whaaat? Parsley suppose to help you drop the pounds? Is that true?
I want to believe in miracle and one of my favorite quote is “Always believe that something wonderful will happen”.
So, I went to the local organic store and as soon as my eyes caught him I whisper:
“Hello my Italian lover known to the world as the Italian parsley.I am going to test you and drink you because I want to lose 5 lbs.”
So, I paid for my lover (only $2.99) and I brought him to my home. Soon I will be ready for my vicious testing….
On a serious note are there any benefits of parsley other than to lose a few pounds ?
Parsley contains high amounts of potassium and vitamin A, calcium, vitamin C and phosphorus.
It is an excellent ally in the fight against urinary problems, kidney disease, a strong diuretic and very rich source of cancer-fighting antioxidants.
So spending $2.99 was well wort it. Don’t you think?
My recipe is the following:
Boil 4 cups of water.(1L)
Add 5 TBSP parsley
Let steep for 20 min.
You can drink with chopped parsley or strain the tea.
You can drink it in any day except late at night (you don’t want to go at night to urinate)
Do not drink more than a 4 cups per day.
Love and hugs from me and my Italian Parsley Lover!

I wanted to make something that is healthy, delicious and gluten free.
But do you know what is gluten?
Gluten is the protein component found in wheat, rye and barley. If our body can’t digest or break down the gluten protein we have a gluten allergy.
It can range from a mild sensitivity to full-blown celiac disease.
If you want complete control (even if you are not controlling freak), cooking from scratch is the easiest way to avoid gluten.
So, let’s start baking from scratch.

Sorry guys when I said I’d leave you in suspense I didn’t mean for it take this long! Life has thrown a lot my way since I rang in 2016!
But I will continue where I left off…or not. To be completely honest with you I’m not too terribly motivated to write this.
I much prefer to write fiction, or write about fiction. I like tall tales, making up stories and telling everyone who is willing to listen about all the amazing books
out there and the fact that a lot of these amazing books I read come from home grown talent!
This just thrills me to my core! Prairie authors abound and I don’t want to tell you anymore about myself, other than
I wish to be one someday but am also extraordinarily happy and fulfilled with my career in childcare.
Starting where I am and pursuing my passions from this place is just as thrilling and I want to tell you about these amazing authors.
I don’t want to go back any longer. I just want to move forward! Let’s move forward together!
With that some hilarious things a child in my daycare centre told me today:
It was someone’s birthday, which in world of most children is a BIG DEAL! Then this adorable little guy piped up and said, “My mommy made me have a birthday!” I said “Oh yeah, she made you?” He looked up at me with the funniest angry face ever and said grudgingly “Yes she did!” Okay…he’s an old soul I guess :p
I’ve found that children really like to hear themselves talk and will say anything that comes to mind. One little boy announced to his friends as he was building a Lego house, “I have a penis! And play dough!” Two very important things to a three-year-old boy!
One of the girls is convinced that there is a store in her tummy and when she eats, the food goes shopping for baby stuff…if only I had half that child’simagination…maybe she’ll be the next J.K. Rowling and I can say I was her daycare teacher
I love looking after children. Their imaginations never fail to surprise and amaze me and their (most of the time) sweet gestures that they have no idea mean so much. Like wiping a child’s jacket off when they fell down, older children getting a Kleenex and wiping a younger child’s tears or giving them a hug, or just smiling for no apparent reason. I often try to remember my mind set at that age but it remains one of life’s greatest mysteries. Jesus has told us to be child like in faith, trusting, which goes against everything we are taught as we grow older. But what a lovely way to live don’t you think?

Welcome to my food porn experience. We are making 69-19=50 shades of grey Sandwich Threesome.
The main characters are Two Oreos (imagine black) + Reese’s in between. (not the Reese Witherspoon, chocolate Reese’s cups)
Everything starts slow… Oreo 1 + Nutella + Reese’s + Nutella + Oreo 2
And while 69 – 19 = 50 shades of grey is happening the naked butler just enter the scene. In his hand he carries a bowl of melted dark chocolate.
He discretely brings that to the table and he leaves. Our sandwich threesome is slowly moving towards the chocolate bath.
They are kissing and touching as they slowly enters the chocolate bath …and as a camera is rolling my face is dark red and
I need to go to church.
